“Secretly Drugged: Illinois Man Accused of Causing Girlfriend’s Miscarriage with Abortion Pills
ILLINOIS — A 31-year-old Illinois man is facing serious criminal charges after prosecutors alleged he secretly administered abortion medication to his pregnant girlfriend without her knowledge or consent, resulting in the loss of her pregnancy.
According to authorities, Emerson Evans was arrested and charged with two counts of intentional homicide of an unborn child after investigators determined he allegedly gave his girlfriend mifepristone, a medication commonly used in medical abortions, while she was approximately seven weeks pregnant.
